In celebration of North Carolina's wheat harvest, ChickenWireNC is teaming up with La Farm Bakery's Lionel Vatinet for a dinner on June 14th showcasing NC's local wheat. Vatinet has requested that funds be raised in support of his local mill, Carolina Ground, so that they can continue to research local grains.
This very special collaboration brings together bread baker Lionel Vatinet with Chefs Daniel Benjamin (LucetteGrace), John Childers (Herons @ The Umstead), James Clark (Carolina Inn), Serge Falcoz-Vigne (Rocky Top Hospitality), Greg Gettles (Piedmont), Robin Bilodeau (Searstone) and Regan Stachler (Little Hen) for a rustic family-style feast, with breads and several dishes served straight from a wood-fired oven.
